The park plays host to a number of different events and shows and is the perfect setting to enjoy a leisurely walk or family picnic. 

For those who like to remain active, Eastmonte Park provides plenty of chances to do so. This premier park is home to the Altamonte Baseball Academy and along with baseball diamonds, it has tennis courts, basketball courts, and 4 indoor, air-conditioned racquetball courts.

Altamonte Springs opened an outdoor town center known as “Uptown Altamonte” which marks the central business district of the city. There is no shortage of events happening in the city at any given time of the year. From movies in the park to spooky Halloween fun, the downtown area of Altamonte is the place to be during holidays. 

 The Best Altamonte Springs Neighborhoods

Altamonte Springs is full of quiet and friendly neighborhoods that allow buyers plenty of choices when looking to move in or around the city. 

Spring Valley is a beautiful and welcoming neighborhood located on the west side of I-4. The neighborhood is complemented by Spring Lake located off of the main road. The park surrounding Spring Lake is the perfect place to relax and watch the sunset. Residents can also enjoy boating or fishing on Spring Lake. Residents of Spring Valley can voluntarily become members of the Community Association having an annual fee of $315, which provides year-round access to the park, an increased police presence in the neighborhood and community events and activities. 

There are roughly 450 homes in the Spring Valley neighborhood and due to its prime location and peaceful setting has become well sought after. The prices for homes in Spring Valley are above the average for Altamonte Springs, falling between $242,000 - $460,000. 

Spring Oaks is another desirable neighborhood for those considering a move to or around Altamonte Springs. The neighborhood is full of well-maintained homes along tree-lined streets. The residents of Spring Oaks enjoy an active homeowners association with voluntary low dues of only $20 for the entire year. The HOA organizes events for its owners throughout the year and prides itself on maintaining a high quality of living.

Country Creek is a secluded subdivision of approximately 850 homes and townhouses. Despite being located just a mile from major intersection 434 and 436, Country Creek's heavily wooded areas give residents an “off the beaten path” feel.

The Orlando Health South Seminole Hospital is located in the north end of Altamonte Springs, whereas the AdventHealth Altamonte Springs Hospital is located in the downtown core. 

The Westmonte Recreation Center is a newly renovated community space that offers residents all sorts of activities from day programs to swimming lessons. There is a community room available for rental, bocce, basketball, tennis and pickleball courts, and a 100-person pavillion.
